Summary:

This session focuses on the key technical challenges and systemic transformations involved in expanding smart transportation from traditional terrestrial scenarios to maritime, low-altitude, and extreme environments, delving into the complexities brought about by extending the boundaries of technical applications. It highlights how heterogeneous computing architectures serve as the computational foundation for processing massive, diverse traffic data. It also explores how multi-modal perception fusion integrates multi-source information—such as radar, vision, and satellite data—to build comprehensive situational awareness, and how edge real-time decision-making enables millisecond-level responses at the network edge to ensure safety and efficiency. Furthermore, it discusses unmanned swarm cooperative control, which facilitates cross-domain collaborative operations among aerial drones, unmanned surface vessels, and unmanned ground vehicles. Together, these cutting-edge technologies form the core technical support system for the new "sea-land-air" integrated transportation paradigm. Their ultimate goal is to break down spatial barriers and build a seamlessly connected, intelligent, and highly efficient comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network.
